BootForge Pro

BootForge Pro is a one-time purchase, no subscription. The most important thing to know: the entire drive-making engine stays free. Pro adds convenience, power, and breadth, never anything safety-critical.

Free, always

The whole hardware-proven core is free:

• USB detection and diagnostics;
• preparing, updating, and reinstalling Ventoy, including downloading Ventoy’s boot files;
• all three build modes — multiboot drives, writing a single image, and dedicated Windows installer sticks;
• importing ISOs from your phone and copying them to a drive;
• checksum verification;
• the whole catalog, including kits, with downloads via each publisher’s official page. There is no free tier and no paid tier of the catalog, and there never has been a “starter set”;
• managing a drive: boot preview, free space, search, sort, delete, and multi-select;
• browsing the drive and your library, and viewing text files on them;
• every app colour palette. All eleven are free;
• update tracking. BootForge flags Update available on an installed image for everyone;
• the boot guide, boot-menu keys, and troubleshooting;
• System / Light / Dark display modes;
• every warning and error explanation. These are never paywalled.

What Pro unlocks

Seven things, and this is the whole list:

• In-app image downloads — download and checksum-verify images straight to your phone or USB drive, no browser detours, with pause, resume, and cancel.
• Boot-menu theme gallery — every gallery theme for your drive’s boot menu, plus your own image as a custom background. The BootForge theme stays free, and a drive gets Ventoy’s plain menu unless you pick something. See Boot-menu themes.
• Edit files on the drive — edit and create text files on the drive, including Ventoy’s own config. Browsing and viewing stay free. See Browsing files.
• Custom drive names — give each USB drive your own memorable name instead of the default product label. Remembering and listing your drives is free.
• Custom volume label — set your own name on the drive’s data partition when you prepare or format it.
• Choose Ventoy version — install a specific Ventoy release instead of the default, which is useful for compatibility.
• Update alerts — opt-in notifications when Ventoy or your images can be updated. The in-app Update available badge itself is free; this is the notification.

Buying and restoring

• Unlock Pro from Settings → BootForge Pro or the Pro showcase, a one-time purchase through Google Play.
• On a new device or after reinstalling, tap Restore purchase to bring Pro back at no extra cost.
• If a purchase is pending, Pro unlocks as soon as Google confirms the payment.
